The Mental Health Counselor provides therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families dealing with emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. Through counseling sessions and therapeutic interventions, they help clients develop coping mechanisms, improve mental health, and enhance well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Maintain confidential records and document treatment progress.
  • Work with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and mental health conditions.
  • Empathy, active listening, and strong analytical skills.
