The Chaplain provides spiritual care, support, and guidance to patients, families, and staff members in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, hospices, and long-term care facilities. They address the emotional and spiritual needs of those experiencing illness, trauma, or end-of-life situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer spiritual counseling, prayer, and support to patients and families.
  • Conduct religious services, rituals, and end-of-life rites as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic care.
  • Respect and accommodate diverse religious and spiritual beliefs.
  • Facilitate grief counseling and bereavement support.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field.
  • Certification from a recognized chaplaincy organization (e.g., ACPE).
  • Experience in pastoral care, counseling, or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
